Prisoner Charles Hanson, convicted for killing his wife, won a suit he filed against the Prison Service for ignoring to provide regular hair cuts. All in all, Hanson will be paid £128 which goes for legal expenses and hair cut costing £7.
Hanson, who got a life sentence for the crime, is currently jailed at Blantyre House in Kent. He’s currently undergoing rehabilitation and has been given privileges such as having a hair cut every six weeks.
The government agreed that prisoners should still be provided with proper health care and hygiene. Hanson argued that most of the inmates end up cutting each other’s hair which does not guarantee hygiene and proper care just like what they’ll get from a proper hair stylist.
The Ministry of Justice is reportedly finding options to prevent massive legal action from prisoners because of Hanson’s seemingly minor yet significant victory.
A spokesman for the ministry said that ministers are looking into the matter and that the recent settlement with the prisoner does not make a precedent to future legal actions by other prisoners. The ministry also stands by its policy not to make settlement with prison law-related cases.

Make-up
Mineral makeup is a major trend these days despite the fact that it costs more than ordinary makeup. With this in mind, it’s better to take advantage of the benefits of these products by making sure that they are applied right on your face. In that way, you are really getting your money’s worth.
Here are some great tips shared by experts from a leading mineral makeup company:
• Use the brush: In order to effectively take advantage of the fine minerals embedded in the makeup, use the brush. Also, make it a habit to clean the brushes once a week. This will prevent the build up of bacteria on the brushes and you’ll be getting fresh batch of makeup rather than still getting leftover minerals from previous applications.
• Before applying the mineral makeup, make sure that your skin is completely dry. Set a timeframe of ten minutes before applying moisturizers and others.
• To get the smokey hot look, mix the eyeshadow with just a drop of water and apply it along the lashes’ base. It’s simple but very effective.
• Don’t overdo it: Just like any other makeup, it’s best not to apply too much on your face.
