Supermodel, television host and entrepreneur Tyra Banks dished out more information on the latest season of “America’s Next Top Model” which is currently on its 15th season. According to Banks, this season’s contestants are so far the “best” yet. The show chronicles the transformation of everyday young women into potentially fierce supermodels.
The winner of this season gets two spreads in Vogue Italia magazine and a lucrative contract with IMG Models. To stress how lucrative this contract is, this is where supermodels Gisele Bundchen and Kate Moss are currently connected.
As for the Italian Vogue feature, this was made possible after Banks and magazine editor Franca Sozzani maintained a friendly relationship after the former agreed to be featured on the magazine’s July 2008 issue which featured all black models.
Banks said that they are expecting the winner to have an international appeal and may be featured in other markets and magazines – specifically in France and Britain.
