A beautician was reportedly hired by police officials in Dhaka, Bangladesh to conduct a seminar specifically on beauty tips to new police recruits in an effort to make these new officers more confident when it comes to dealing with the public.

According to reports, Kaniz Almas Khan will be giving lessons to more than a hundred police recruits in an academy located in the northwest region of Bangladesh. Khan owns beauty salons in Dhaka and in neighboring Thailand.

She shared that she was pleasantly surprised when asked to conduct the class because a lot of people are now starting to become more conscious about their appearance. She added that male police officers are now starting to make effort in looking good. She’ll be providing tips on what colors would set them, types of perfume that would fit and many more.

Mazharul Haque, the Sharda Police Academy Chief Officer, said that the class would aid new hires in terms of improving their confidence by improving their appearance. He’s glad to have gotten one of the country’s top beauticians to give beauty tips to the new recruits, adding that being properly groomed matters.
