Despite the hard times, it still pays off to maintain your looks and stay healthy. Here are some beauty products that you could use to replace the more expensive items and still get desirable results:
Hair conditioners can actually be used as a shaving cream. Apply a generous amount of the condition on underarms, legs and bikini line for women and shave the hairs off. Make sure to soften your skin first in order to prevent cuts. For men, it can be used to shave off facial hair.- Petroleum Jelly, which is typically used to soften dry areas in the body such as the knees, elbows and lips, can be used to smoothen the brow during makeup. In fact, practical makeup artists use petroleum jelly for this.
- Another great and inexpensive facial cleanser is the bio oil. To clear off the makeup before going to bed, just apply to oil on skin and wipe it off with a warm, wet towel.
- Inexpensive baby lotion can also be used as a regular moisturizer for adults. In a way, you’ll get baby soft skin. This multipurpose lotion is usually hypoallergenic thus gentle to the skin. Great also for removal of eye make-up.
