Elvis Presley’s hair up for auction

A piece of Elvis Presley’s hair is expected to get more than $12,000 in an upcoming auction event in the United States.
According to reports, the celebrity hair was styled to be given to Tankers Fan Club president Gary Pepper during the early year. The clump of hair is among the two hundred items that are up for auction this weekend.
The singer’s hair were said to have been cut off in 1958 in his preparation for service in the Army. The hair is said to be in perfect condition despite lasting more than five decades.
The auction is said to take place at the Leslie Hindman Auctioneers in Chicago, Illinois.
Other Presley memorabilia that are up for grabs include dolls, clothes and Pez dispenser. Other clothes worn by the singer will be auctioned as well.
Pepper acquired the collection through the years. He died in 1980.
