To keep up with latest fashion trends shown at the recently concluded Mango Fashion Awards in Barcelona, Spain on Wednesday, actress Scarlett Johansson attended the event with a new hairstyle.

The 25-year old celebrity was seen with her new chic cut that gave her hair a slightly tousled, sultry look with wavy strands extending beyond her chin.

The Tony Award-winning actress looked glowing and confident with her latest look as she gamely posed for the media and even chatted freely with French fashion designer Jean-Paul Gaultier. She was the one who presented the honorary Mango Button Award to the popular designer.

Though Johansson has yet to explain the reason behind the new look, speculations arose that this may have something to do with an upcoming film project but this has yet to be confirmed.

What probably matters as this point is whether her husband, Ryan Reynolds liked her new look.

A piece of Elvis Presley’s hair is expected to get more than $12,000 in an upcoming auction event in the United States.

According to reports, the celebrity hair was styled to be given to Tankers Fan Club president Gary Pepper during the early year. The clump of hair is among the two hundred items that are up for auction this weekend.

The singer’s hair were said to have been cut off in 1958 in his preparation for service in the Army. The hair is said to be in perfect condition despite lasting more than five decades.

The auction is said to take place at the Leslie Hindman Auctioneers in Chicago, Illinois.

Other Presley memorabilia that are up for grabs include dolls, clothes and Pez dispenser. Other clothes worn by the singer will be auctioned as well.

Pepper acquired the collection through the years. He died in 1980.

Supermodel and Emmy Award-winning talk show host Tyra Banks revealed that in the upcoming fifth season of her hit talk show, she will be showing the public her real hair. This after Banks declared September 8th to be the “National Real Hair Day.”

In an interview, the supermodel said that her current long hair style is actually not real. She wanted to show her real hair because she’s been getting a lot of advice requests from young girls who look up to her. In the past, Banks has shown some of her untouched photos which showed flaws in her body.

Banks revealed that she wore wigs during her modeling days because she had to sport on a lot of hair styles for major fashion shows in New York, Milan and Paris. She admitted that her real hair got shorter and shorter. She stressed that she pretty much have normal hair.

Some of the top stylists in America pinpointed the four trendiest hair styles for the fall season:

“The looks aren’t radically different from some of the trends last fall”, said Oscar Blandi exclusively to Post-Gazette.

“The key difference is that the loose, wild locks of yesteryear are now much more polished, very clean, Old Hollywood glamour style,” he said.

“It’s much more controlled. Curls will be more defined. They will be more controlled, much tamer,” said Blandi.

Of course, straight hair is still in the picture but with more volume, bouncier and fuller.

Karrie Fonte, Matrix Education assistant vice president, pinpointed that the only difference was that the hair two years ago was pin straight and flat-ironed.
