Eye and Lip Makeup Tips and Trends for Fall 2008
Accentuating the eye and the lip is one of the biggest makeup trends this fall. Bold lip colors and shimmery eyes have been dominating the red carpet and celebrity events these past few weeks. Some of the biggest celebrity makeup trendsetters include Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Lopez. If you want to get the same look, here are a few tips for you to follow:
BOLD LIPS – This fall season don’t be afraid to put on a bold lip color. Top shades include bright pink, brown, bright and dark red, cranberry and brown. To put on a bold color properly, you should first apply a lip balm. The Lip Balm prevents your lipstick from cracking. After the lip balm, you should line the outer areas of your lips with a liner the same color as your lipstick – then color it in. This trend may look luscious and tempting, but it is not for everybody. Women with thin lips should stay away from this trend.
SHIMMERY EYES – For fall, you can choose a shimmery eye shadow to put all over your eyelid. Pick out an eye shadow that compliments your skin. A shimmery black, brown or plum eye shadow would be great for creating a smoky eye.
